I have to achieve the Safety Ladder. What now?

How can you comply with the Safety Ladder / SCL / ViA?

To comply with the Governance Code for Safety in Construction/ViA as an organization, there are the following options:

• SCL Original – Safety Culture Ladder, this is the Safety Ladder where a follow-up audit is performed every year (this is the 100% audit). The certificate is valid for 3 years.
  
  
• SCL – Upon certification you will receive an SCL certificate for 3 years, with a follow-up audit carried out every year (this is a 40% audit).
  
  
• SCL Light – After the first assessment audit (40% audit) a statement is issued that is valid for 3 years. The follow-up audit follows the action plan and a project is also visited. You will not receive a certificate, but a statement. This statement is valid for 3 years.
  
  
• Approved Self Assessment – With the Self Assessment you will receive a SAQ Statement (check by a CI). Then in the following 2 years a check will take place to extend this statement. You will not receive a certificate.
