Erkend Duurzaam is an initiative by the IvDM, ‘Instituut voor Duurzame Mobiliteit’ (Institute for Sustainable Mobility). Founded in 2008 by four major industry associations – BOVAG, FOCWA, RAI Vereniging, and Stiba – the institute is a non-profit organization. From a corporate governance perspective, we aim to assist businesses in the mobility sector in getting their CSR policies in order.
Erkend Duurzaam is the sustainability quality mark for the Dutch mobility sector. The certification is carried out by independent specialists. Erkend Duurzaam is 100% objective and adheres to the international ISO 26000 standard for sustainability.
